Oct. 26
Four eyes
7:24 a.m. — First Block of Ellis Place. Larceny Motor Vehicle. An unknown person entered the suspect’s unlocked 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche and took several items from inside of the vehicle. Oakley sunglasses, Versace sunglasses, a radar detector and a GPS unit were all noted missing. No suspects have been named or identified at this time.

Have a look-see
1 p.m. — First Block of Waterloo Place. Larceny Motor Vehicle. A man stated that an unknown person entered his unlocked 1994 Ford Ranger and took the binoculars lying in the front seat of his vehicle.
The man could not provide a serial number for the binoculars. The man was advised to contact the Sheriff’s Office if he finds the serial number. No suspects have been named or identified at this time.

Oct. 22
Bag grab
4:30 p.m.—First Block of Plaza Drive. Larceny. A victim informed a deputy that when she returned home from a business office, she realized she left her purse. She returned but could not find her bag, which is brown in color and resembles a small book bag.

Inside the purse was the victim’s debit card, a black wallet with a small amount of cash, a prepaid credit card, a 14-karat-gold ring, and a 14-karat-gold wedding ring set. The business’ cameras do not cover the area where the victim left her purse, and there are no suspects.

Oct. 23
Butchered diversion
7:42 p.m. — 4900 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting. A member of supermarket’s loss-prevention team stated he had two females in custody for shoplifting.

He observed the two women place several items in a shopping cart. The younger of the two women took the items to the customer-service counter in an attempt to return the items for a refund. During this time, the older woman went to the butcher and seafood sections of the store and concealed items into her purse. The younger woman then returned all of the items to her cart, and they exited the store passing all points of sale. The total value of the items is approximately $134. Both females were taken into custody.

Oct. 25
Ghost rider
6:40 p.m. — First Block of East Diamond Drive. Larceny. A man stated that he parked his green, men’s bicycle in his driveway next to his house by the garage door. He then proceeded to water his plants around his house.

Approximately 10 minutes later, he returned to the front of his residence and noticed that the bike was gone. The man did not see anyone take the bicycle and there are no known witnesses.

Oct. 26
Rocky relationship
9:40 a.m. — First Block of Pleasant Lane. Property Damage. A man advised that he is the property controller for an owner who resides in New York.

The man stated someone threw a rock through two of the windows on the right side of the house. A deputy observed that two of the windows had a circular break in them. There was a rock in the room that appeared to have come from the neighbor’s yard. No latent prints could be located at the scene, and there are no suspects.
