Friends don’t let friends get robbed
2 a.m. — I 95 and Palm Coast Parkway. Larceny. A man advised he had been staying in the wooded area behind a restaurant. This is the area where he kept his belongings while he walked around town during the day and while he hung around some of the local bars at night. The previous night, the victim was hanging around a 30-year-old man who was wearing a black T-shirt, jeans and a scruffy beard.

The two of them were drinking at a bar and were to return to the area he had been staying to sleep for the evening. The young man left the bar before he did, but the victim thought nothing of it. When he returned to the area, all of his belongings were missing. The man is now missing a black metal-framed backpack with camouflage print. Inside of the bag were all of his clothes and personal items. He was also missing a red-and-white Coleman cooler and numerous items that included CDs and books. The man believes his newfound friend has taken the items.

Running man
2 p.m. — 200 Block of St Joe Plaza Drive. Property Lost. A man stated that he lost his wallet at a bar. The night before, at approximately 8 p.m., he left the bar after having a few beers. The man stopped at the gas station to buy cigarettes and noticed that he did not have his wallet. He knew he had it while he was at the sports bar, so he rushed back to the bar to ask some employees.

All of the employees told him it was not found and to return the next day to ask management. No one found the wallet, so he called law enforcement to report it stolen. He described the wallet as dark reddish-brown leather with an emblem of a Jamaican running man on the front. There are no suspects.
