Washington Oaks decks the 'hol'-idays

Poinsettias and Christmas cactuses were joined by a reindeer ring toss and a Holidays Around the World beanbag toss Dec. 10, at Holiday in the Gardens, held at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park.

Seven bags of toys and 1,200 pounds of nonperishable food items were collected at the event entrance. The Flagler County Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program will distribute the collected items. The Church Women United Foundation will create food baskets with the items and distribute to those in need throughout Flagler County.
