The Flagler Palm Coast wrestling team went 5-0, Dec. 27 and Dec. 28, at the 2010 KSA National Duals, at Disney.
The Flagler Palm Coast wrestling team continues to gain momentum, and the Bulldogs kept it going when they ventured down to Disney, Dec. 27 and Dec. 28, to compete in the 2010 KSA National Duals wrestling tournament, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.
The Bulldogs haven’t competed in this tournament since it won in 2003, but FPC went 5-0 en route to another title.
The Bulldogs defeated Mt. Sinai High School, from New York, in the championship final, 35-30.
Among the FPC undefeated wrestlers over the two-day tournament include Claudio Prazeras (130 pounds), J.Z. Williams (135 pounds), Nick Michael (140 pounds), Jimmy Gomes (160 pounds), Nick Shaw (215 pounds) and Derron Green (heavyweight).

The Flagler Palm Coast boys soccer team plays 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Deltona, and against 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at home against Mainland.
The FPC girls soccer team plays 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at home against Bolles and 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at home against Creekside.
The FPC boys basketball team plays 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Seabreeze and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at New Smyrna Beach.
The FPC girls basketball team plays 12:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at home against DeLand and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Seabreaze.
The Matanzas Pirates boys soccer team plays 7:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at home against Nease. This will be a key district matchup. The Pirates play again 6:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at Taylor High School.
The MHS girls soccer team plays 7:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Nease in a district matchup.
The MHS boys basketball team plays 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at home against Nease and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, at home against Broach.
The MHS girls basketball team plays 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Nease and 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at home against Palatka.
