No sign, no crime
7 a.m. — First Block of Ferndale Lane.
Larceny. A deputy responded to this Palm Coast residence in reference to trespassing. The victim stated that sometime overnight, an unknown person stole a “no trespassing” sign from the man’s front yard. The trespassing sign was from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and was purchased at the substation for $4.
The victim bolted the sign to a 6-foot pole and placed it in the northeast corner of his yard. The man believes juveniles stole the sign because they are constantly trespassing on his property. The juveniles cut through the yard so they do not have to walk so far while walking home from school.
