+ A.I. Technologies Inc. forges distributorship
Candace Flanagan, of local health and safety consulting firm My Safe & Sound Home, recently became A.I. Technologies Inc.’s new distributor for the EMT Buddy, a two-gigabyte storage device a little thicker than a credit card. The EMT Buddy stores an owner’s medical information, as well as lost-and-found contacts, for use in emergency situations such as car or bike crashes.

Flanagan held an emergency preparedness seminar June 11, at Benton Village, promoting the EMT Buddy for identification and emergency use during nursing home evacuations and other disaster situations.

With 25 years in the field of health and safety, Flanagan also led a wellness program June 1, at the Center for Business Excellence, where she discussed the grant structure for small businesses that develop in-house wellness programs.

In a year since its creation, the EMT Buddy has sold about 1,000 units.

A.I. Technologies opened in 2008 and last year opened a showroom in the Amaral Plaza, at 4721 E. Moody Bvd., 305. For more, visit www.EMTbuddy.com, or www.safetycourse training.com. Call 445-5682.
