3:30 p.m. — First Block of Utility Drive. Stolen Tag. A victim advised that an unknown person removed the tag from the rear of his black 16-foot trailer. The tag had expired, and he had the new decal to put on the tag plate. The Department of Motor Vehicles will replace his tag at a later date. The victim was not able to provide a suspect at the time of this report.
July 16
Music on the go
8 a.m. — First Block of Shelter Drive. Larceny. An employee at this address reported that an unknown person stole her iPod while she was at work. The victim was unable to provide the serial number for the iPod and knows of no suspects at this time.
It’s a lock
4 p.m. — 4700 Block of East Moody Boulevard. Break and Enter Attempt. A man stated that he dropped off his enclosed trailer at storage. The victim then received a phone call from a friend stating that the lock had been cut off the trailer. Nothing was taken from the trailer, and the only damage is to the lock. Deputies could not locate any prints of evidentiary value. No suspects have been named or identified at this time.
July 19
Still cleaning?
2:29 p.m. — 800 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Larceny. A store employee contacted deputies in reference to a Palm Coast resident who rented a carpet cleaner. The return date was June 7, and the machine has still not been returned. Rental cost was $42.78, and the total cost of the machine is $849. The loss-prevention officer has tried to contact this customer by phone and mail and has been met with negative results. The machine was not returned.
July 20
Holey fence
9 p.m. — First Block of Forest Hill Drive. Property Damage. A woman advised that her fence was damaged overnight. The residence is a rental property that belongs to her, and she is in the process of cleaning it for new tenants to move in.
She advised that she locked the fence of the residence at the time of the last visit. When she arrived at her residence on this date, she observed that the fence post was pulled out of the ground, and the hinges on the door to the fence were broken. She advised that it will cost approximately $200 to replace the door on the fence. There are no suspects at this time.
Car cash
6 p.m. — First Block of Lancelot Drive. Larceny Motor Vehicle. A woman advised that someone unlawfully entered her vehicle overnight and stole her purse off the front passenger seat. The purse contained $3,000 cash and some jewelry.
The vehicle was described as a white 2008 Toyota Avalon, and it was parked in the driveway. The vehicle was left unsecured and had no visible signs of forced entry or any damage. The vehicle was dusted for prints, and a partial print was recovered on the driver’s door handle. All fingerprints will be submitted into evidence. There is no suspect information at this time.

Nickel-and-dimed
1 a.m. — First Bock of Blairsville Drive. Larceny Motor Vehicle. A man advised that his 1992 Toyota Paseo was burglarized while parked in the driveway of the residence. This man’s vehicle was left unlocked and was broken into at some point during the night. The victim advised that the belongings inside the vehicle were thrown around, and the only thing that appears to be missing is $2 in loose change from the middle console of the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time.
