The Photography Club of Flagler County picks its top pic each month.
What can be made with a tablecloth and inexpensive clip-on lights? Artwork, according to the Photograph Club of Flagler County.
During each monthly meeting, the club members have a photo contest and a demonstration. The June meeting featured a demonstration about how to set up a still life using clip-on lights from The Home Depot and a tablecloth, according to Bob Carlsen, vice president and acting president of the club. Attendees will present their still-life photos at the July meeting.
From photojournalism to abstractions or photographic art, the club is interested in all types of art.
Carlsen is also the director of gallery shows and exhibitions at the Flagler County Art League, which also announces monthly winners.
