In the dark about burglary
10:45 p.m. — First Block of Farragut Drive. Burglary Residential. A young man stated that he left his house at approximately 4:30 p.m. and returned right before midnight. When he walked through the house, he noticed his 32-inch flat-screen TV and Xbox were missing, as well as $600 in cash.
The victim advised that the television was worth approximately $350, and the Xbox was worth about $120. He could not provide serial numbers for these missing items. His roommate stated that she left the house at approximately 2 p.m. and returned a few minutes before the young man. The doors to the house were left unlocked, and no evidence was collected from the scene. Also, there was no power to the house because of an unpaid electric bill, making it hard to see inside.
The back yard is fenced in and no one was home at the house next door. It is unknown which unsecured door the suspect entered and exited. There are no suspects at this time.
