Teenager steals Little Debbie cakes
5:57 p.m. — 5100 Block of East State Road 100. Larceny Shoplifting. The loss-prevention office at a store saw two teenagers enter the store and walk over to the shoe department. They selected a pair of shoes from the shelf and walked over to the lingerie section. They removed the tags and put the shoes on. One of the females climbed into a shopping cart as the other girl pushed her around.
They selected various merchandise from different parts of the store and concealed them in their purses. The loss-prevention officer detained the two girls until a deputy arrived.
Stolen from the store were 19 clothing items, one box of Little Debbie cakes, and two health-and-beauty items. The stolen merchandise totaled $180.47. These two girls were placed under arrest.
Teenager ‘tries on’ jewelry
2:26 p.m. — 660 Block of Palm Coast Parkway Southwest. Larceny Shoplifting. The loss-prevention officer at a store told a deputy that he saw a 16-year-old white female in the jewelry department select five pieces of miscellaneous jewelry and go into the cosmetics department. She selected one bottle of fragrance and two pairs of sandals. She placed the items into the cart and entered a ladies fitting room. The tags on the items were lying on the floor of the fitting room upon her exit.
She passed all points of sale and walked into the parking lot. The officer made contact with her and recovered the stolen items. The total value of the items is $335. The teenager was arrested for the crime of grand theft and transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.

Sound of silence
8:30 a.m. — First Block of Eton Lane. Larceny Motor Vehicle. A man told a deputy that, while he was driving to work in the morning, he noticed there was no music coming from the speakers in his car.
He pulled the car off the road and noticed his rear sound system is missing from the trunk.
He then called law enforcement when he arrived to work. The driver-side door was unlocked, and there was no damage to the exterior of the vehicle. There are no suspects at this time, and the victim does not have the serial numbers to the stolen items.

Tip jar taken from restaurant
9:29 p.m. — 500 Block of Palm Coast Parkway North East. Larceny. A man told a deputy that an unknown person took money from him while he and his fellow employee were cleaning the rear of a restaurant.
The deputy reviewed the in-store surveillance footage, which showed a slender white male wearing a black shirt, a sky-blue zip-up sweatshirt, jeans and a multi-colored hat. The unknown suspect walked up to the front counter and took the container holding the evening’s tips — approximately $27. The unknown suspect then ran out of the restaurant.
