Park hosts Jam Session in honor of namesake

Bob Nierstedt jammed on his acoustic guitar Saturday, March 12, at Gamble Rogers State Park.

This was the first jam session at the park.

Gambe Rogers was a folk singer who died in 1991 trying to save a drowning man.

The park plans to repeat the event every second Saturday.

Jerry Hartsock and Carole Evans enjoy the music by the river at the park.
