Gunpoint robbery
6:55 p.m. — Oak Trails Boulevard / Blare Drive. Robbery. A victim stated that while he was walking down the street, an older, dark-blue Chevrolet drove past him, then turned around and pulled up next to him. The male passenger asked if he could “bum a cigarette,” and when the victim agreed, the passenger exited the vehicle.
As the victim reached into his pockets, the subject grabbed the front of his shirt and pushed him face-first on the ground. The victim turned his head to see a silver revolver handgun pointing at him, and the subject stated, “Get down and stay down. Don’t look at me.” The subject searched the victim’s pockets and removed his wallet and cigarettes. The subject then returned to the vehicle and proceeded down the road. At no point did the driver exit the vehicle.

Grand stole flag
9:29 a.m. — 3000 Block of County Road 2006 West. Larceny. An employee advised that a U.S. Army flag was stolen from a flag pole positioned to the west of the restaurant. The clips that attach the flag to the pole were also taken. The estimated value of the items is $45, and there is no further information at this time.

Thief comes up empty
11:42 a.m. — First Block of Bennett Lane. Larceny from auto. A victim advised that an unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle sometime between 3 p.m., Oct. 12, and 7:45 a.m., Oct. 13, and stole an empty black computer bag valued at approximately $30.

Thar go the knee boards
10:54 a.m. — 3000 Block of North Ocean Shore Boulevard. Larceny from boat. A victim advised that sometime between Oct. 13 and Oct. 22, an unknown person entered his boat and stole four custom-made speakers valued at $400 that were mounted in the vessel. Two carbon-fiber knee boards were also stolen, valued at $775. No damage was done to the boat
Shoplifting spree
6:11 p.m. — First Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny shoplifting. An employee advised that he observed a female, who had committed a retail theft of jewelry on Oct. 7 but had not been apprehended, inside the store. She was observed this time in the health-and-beauty department, selecting several hair products and placing them in her shopping cart. She then entered the men’s department, where she concealed the products in her purse.
The subject proceeded to the jewelry department where she concealed several hats and gloves into her purse as well.
After placing several other items in her shopping cart and paying for them at the register, the subject exited the store without paying for the concealed merchandise and was stopped by an employee outside.
The total value of the concealed items was $71.61, and the value of items taken on Oct. 7 was $63.80, for a total of $134.96. The victim advised she was currently on probation for retail grand theft and that if she was arrested today she would go to prison for five years. She was arrested and transported to the inmate facility without incident.
GALAXY DISAPPEARS

1:49 p.m. — First Block of Lamoyne Lane. Larceny. A victim advised that an unknown subject stole a Samsung Galaxy Tablet from his front porch. The victim had won the tablet on eBay, and when his father went to see if the package had been delivered, he discovered a ripped-open box with the contents removed. No latent fingerprints could be located on the box, and there are no suspects at this time.
