“We’re kind of a family-type salon,” Carroll said, who previously owned a salon in New York for six years, and says she tries to cater to male as much as female clientele.
Cuts & Curls is located at 200 South A1A. Call 693-4847.
+ One-Stop Centers will close an hour earlier
Made effective the beginning of November, One-Stop Employment Centers in Flagler and Volusia counties reduced their hours of operation by one hour, now opening to the public 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
One-Stop Employment Centers previously received additional federal funding to handle increased employment and training demand. But when the funding dried up, the Center for Business Excellence, which manages all of the centers, made the decision to cut back on time, to allow staff to complete administrative duties.
Traffic through the center is typically slowest in the later daytime hours, according to a CBE release.
