Lost and still lost
8:03 a.m. — 5000 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Larceny. A student victim advised that he had a new pair of blue-and-black Adidas running shoes in a plastic bag sitting on the floor next to his book bag at the beginning of sixth period. He left the bag in the room when class ended, and when he went back the next day to retrieve them, he discovered the bag and shoes were missing.
The teacher had not seen the bag, and a check with custodial services was met with negative results. The victim also checked the school’s lost-and-found. The shoes have no identifying marks and are valued at $90.
Digging for clues
6:41 p.m. — First Block of Forrester Place. Larceny. A victim advised that she was out of the state for a few days, and, upon returning home, she noticed that several plants from her backyard were missing. The victim cleaned up the dirt and rearranged the flower beds before contacting law enforcement for a report. There are no suspects at this time.
OCT. 28
Sure-locked homes?
7:02 p.m. — First Block of Bunker View Drive. Burglary-residential. A victim advised that after being gone for several hours, she returned home to find the front door to her residence unlocked and the window to her daughter’s bedroom open. Upon surveying the residence, she discovered that a PS3 game system, a set of eight crystal angels and a music box were missing.
She advised that she does not use the front door normally and is sure that it was locked. There did not appear to be any signs of forced entry to the window, and it seems as though the suspect exited through the front door. There is no suspect or witness information at this time.
OCT. 29
Cashed out
3:01 p.m. — 1000 Block of Palm Coast Parkway Northwest. Larceny. A victim advised that she used the ladies restroom at the above address at approximately 2:55 p.m., leaving her brown Louis Vuitton wallet on the table inside. The victim left the restaurant but quickly realized she had left the wallet behind and went back to retrieve it.
The wallet had been turned in to an employee by an elderly female, but when the victim looked inside, she discovered there was $600 in cash missing. The employee denied having taken the money and advised that no other emplyees had touched it or even knew it was in her custody. There is no further action possible at this time.
NOV. 1
Boob-tube bandit
12:47 a.m. — First Block of Pine Hill Lane. Burglary-investigate. A victim advised that when he came home from work, he observed his front door open. Upon entering the residence, he observed the back sliding glass door was also open, and his 42-inch flat-screen TV was missing. The victim was unsure whether the sliding door was locked when he left for work. Nothing else was missing from the house, and there was no evidence on the scene.

... and iPod Touch someone
8:01 a.m. — 5000 Block of Belle Terre Parkway. Larceny. A student sought out the school resource deputy at Indian Trails Middle School to report the theft of her iPod. The victim advised that she had the iPod during sixth period, but that on her way to the bus afterward, she realized her 8GB iPod Touch must have fallen out of her pocket and been left on the floor of the classroom. When she returned the next day, the teacher did not have the iPod, nor was it turned into the lost and found. There are no suspects or witnesses.
