The Matanzas boys cross-country team qualified for the state meet, which will take place Saturday, Nov. 18, in Dade City.

This is the fourth consecutive year the boys team has qualified for states.

The Pirates finished in sixth place at the regional meet, the final spot to qualify for states. The race is 3.1 miles.

The boys results are as follows:
