Hi ho, Silver
1:48 p.m. — First Block of Edge Lane. Burglary residential. A victim advised that a package had been dropped off at his neighbor’s home for him while he was out. He placed the package in his garage and left the garage door open. He went into his house for a few hours because he wasn’t feeling well.
The next morning, the victim went to retrieve the package, and it was missing.
Inside the package had been five sets of five silver dollar certificates valued at approximately $1,500.
The victim does not know who could have taken it and has no suspect information at this time.
NOV. 12
Panty Bandit
2:02 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny shoplifting. An employee observed the suspect walk into the clothing department and select a few pairs of underwear, then proceed to the paper goods aisle, where she ripped the tags off the underwear and placed them in her purse.
The employee followed the woman to the front of the store, where she passed by all points of sale and exited. Upon confrontation, the suspect was also found to be concealing a box of Glad Force Flex garbage bags and a tube of Clorox disinfecting wipes.
The total value of the stolen items amounted to $28.89. The suspect was given a notice to appear and released form the scene.
Thief: I like bike
2:27 p.m. — First Block of Slumber Path. Larceny. A victim’s mother advised that her son and his friend were riding their bicycles in front of her residence but then parked them in front of the garage and went inside the house for about 15 minutes. When they returned, one of the bicycles was missing.
The woman advised she did not see anyone suspicious in the neighborhood, and she checked with her neighbors, but no one was home at the time of the incident.
The bike is a Mongoose BMX boys bicycle with the right side spray-painted black and the rest painted silver and blue. The kickstand is tied on with a small piece of rope. No further information at this time.
Watch out for fake-eyelashed thief
5:52 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny shoplifting. An employee stated that he observed two subjects enter the store and go to the health and beauty department, where they selected several items, including three packs of fake eyelashes, a package of tooth whitening strips, a tube of lipstick and a bottle of cologne.
The subjects then continued to the boys department and slected two pairs of gloves. After concealing the merchandise between them, the subjects attempted to exit the store.
One of the subjects was a juvenile, and his step-father arrived to pick him up at the scene. A written statement and photographs of the stolen items were submitted into records, and the charging affidavit was forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office.
TAKES A LOCK ...
NOV. 12
... and takes a walk
12:03 p.m. — 200 Block of Old Kings Road South. Larceny. A victim stated that he had placed his gym bag in locker No. 31 in the men’s locker room, and when he returned approximately two hours later, he found that his combination lock was missing.
Someone had also taken $400 cash from his wallet. The victim’s wallet and other contents of the gym bag were still intact, and a search for the missing lock yielded negative results. There are no suspects.
