City to host free pet event

The city of Palm Coast will host an event all for the benefit of pets, and their owners, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in Central Park at Town Center.

In addition to music, food and K-9 demonstrations, there will also be seminars given by local veterinarians.

The schedule is as follows:
11:30 a.m. – spay/neuter, dental care – Shelton Veterinarian Clinic’s Dr. Andrea Kaser
Noon – vaccinations – Shelton Veterinarian Clinic’s Dr. Kristin Kultgen-Domingues
12:30 p.m. – canine obesity – Community Animal Clinic’s Dr. Linda West
1 p.m. – heartworm – Palm Coast Pet Clinic’s Dr. C. Sheffield
1:30 p.m. – dog training/safety – Flagler Animal Hospital’s Dr. Mendez

Along with the veterinarian seminars, Cause for Paws will also have low cost immunizations, unique pet products available.
