Central Park at Town Center was transformed into an outdoor music venue Saturday, April 14, for the third-annual Rock ’N’ Rib Fest, presented by the city of Palm Coast, Beach 92.7/Easy Oldies FM and Floridian View Magazine.

The event, which also featured pig races, falcon demonstrations and a kids carnival, drew 5,000 attendees.

Before headliner Little River Band took the stage, the festival played host to several Florida bands, including Category 5, Wild Life Jungle Brass, The Afterwhile, Spandex Superheroes, and Ben Torres and The Almost Unknown Band.

But rock was only one part of the festival. Ribs and other barbecue foods were celebrated with a taste judging.

The following venders were awarded for their offerings: Best overall ribs, Elsie’s Place; Best sauce, Firehouse BBQ; Best Fall Off the Bone Ribs, Flagler Schools; and Honorable mentions, Brian’s Bar-B-Q and The Happy Chef.
