The Friends of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park will hold their 23rd-annual Earth Day Celebration on 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22, at Washington oaks Gardens State Park, 6400 North Oceanshore Blvd.

This two-day event will include live entertainment, living history re-enactors, environmental groups, arts and craft vendors, and food.

Special park admission fees for Earth Day will be $10 per car for up to eight people. Part of the ticket will include an entry into the door prize drawing for an annual family Florida park pass and a year’s Friends membership provided by the Friends of Washington Oaks.

Smokey Bear will be there with his log cabin and the St. John’s County Bee Keepers Association will be in attendance educating visitors about honey and bees.

Other events this weekend are:

Bruce in the USA — 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Flagler Auditorium, 5500 State Road 100. An international touring tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Call 437-7547.

Edible Community Garden — 8 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Rymfire Elementary School, 1425 Rymfire Drive. Hosted by Flagler Volunteer Services. All ages welcome. Create something lasting and useful for you and your neighbors. Free event. Call 597-2950.

Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show — 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Flagler Palm Coast High School, 5500 E. State Road 100. Hosted by the FPC Future Business Leaders of America. Registration begins at 8 a.m. Free for spectators; $10 advance registration, $15 day-of-show registration. There will be food, drinks, and kids area and a DJ. Law Enforcement Memorial Ride — 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, Starts at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. State Road 100, Bunnell. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. A 75-mile police-escorted ride to honor all law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Cost is $15 per rider and $10 per passenger (includes lunch). Rain date is Sunday, April 22.
 

Freedom Fund Banquet — 6 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Hammock Beach Resort, 200 Ocean Crest Drive. Hosted by the Flagler County NAACP. This black-tie affair will feature guest speaker Hilary O. Shelton, NAACP Washington Bureau Director and Senior Vice President for Advocacy. Tickets are $60 per person. Call 446-7822 or visit FlaglerCntyNAACP.org.
 

Picnic and Pops — 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Central Park in Town Center. Music by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra featuring “Symphony Under the Stars” with conductor Matthew Kraemer. Gates open at 6:30 for picnicking; concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for Palm Coast Arts Foundation members, $40 for non-members. Reserve tables for up to 10 available. Call 286-263-2991.
