The Whiffenpoofs, of Yale University, America’s oldest collegiate a cappella group, will perform 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive.

Recently returned from a tour to the southern hemisphere, the Whiffenpoofs Class of 2012 became the first class of gentlemen songsters to visit the seventh continent, Antarctica. Other noteworthy recent concerts include December performances at The White House for President Obama and at the Lincoln Center with Glee star Darren Criss.

The Whiffenpoofs were founded in 1909 in New Haven, Conn. More than 100 years later, the Whiffenpoofs continue their proud tradition of outstanding musicianship and exceptional entertainment.

In addition, the group has performed for Presidents Clinton, Bush I and II, and Reagan, Mother Teresa, and the Dalai Lama. They have performed at the World Series, on Saturday Night Live, The West Wing, and NBC’s The Sing Off.

The concert is made possible in whole or in part by a grant from the city of Palm Coast. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the William J. Bellamy, Jr. Music Education Scholarship Fund.

Tickets are $20 and are available at the church office, 156 Florida Park Dr., and Aimee’s Hallmark in the Palm Harbor Shopping Center.

Student tickets will be available for $10 at the door; a valid student ID is required.
