+ BeachHouse Beanery hits four-year mark
Flagler Beach’s BeachHouse Beanery reached its fourth year in business, as fireworks flew off the pier this Fourth of July.

“Four years ago, when we opened on July Fourth, we knew it wasn’t ideal timing,” Owner Carol Fisher wrote in a recent company newsletter. “Sort of a tough initiation, like baptism by fire.”

So to commemorate its opening this year, the Beanery moved its celebration to July 12, by giving out free cookies with every purchase and offering homemade sangria specials in the evening.

+ Heiser and Leonardo-Flynn join Pioneer Title Services
Licensed title insurance agents Michelle J. Heiser and Laura Leonardo-Flynn have joined Pioneer Title Services LLC. Heiser will be the company’s operating manager and closing agent, and Leonardo-Flynn will work sales and marketing. + Nephrologist opens practice at Parkway Medical Plaza
Nephrologist Jaideep Hoskote, who specializes in the treatment of kidney disorders, will open a new practice at Florida Hospital Flagler’s Parkway Medical Plaza, at 120 Cypress Edge Drive.

Having completed his medical degree in India and performed his residency at University of Louisville Hospital, Hoskote has worked at Florida Hospital Flagler for two years. Call 586-4460.

+ Edward Jones supports school supplies drive
An Edward Jones branch office in Palm Coast, in collaboration with the Elks Lodge, will serve as a drop-off location for donations of school supplies, until Aug. 16.

+ Gold, silver store relocates to West Pointe Plaza
Northbridge Precious Metals Group, which buys gold and silver and repairs jewelry, has relocated from Florida Park Drive to the West Pointe Plaza, at 389 Palm Coast Parkway.

The company also hired Giuseppa “Pina” Bologna, a former chef who has previously owned three jewelry stores in New York and Flagler Beach.

+ MyInfo911 launches yellow dot program for emergencies
MyInfo911 is now offering a new, free sticker as part of its Yellow Dot Program. The sticker, placed in the rear window of a vehicle, signifies to first responders in auto accidents that medical records are stowed in the vehicle’s glove box, which helps emergency workers provide better care to crash victims.

MyInfo911 opened in 2010. The Yellow Dot program started in 2002 and is implemented in 30 states.

MyInfo911 also manufactures other accompanying emergency products, one of which is a scannable ID card, which gives first responders instant access to a cardholder’s full medical history.
