Flagler Humane Society: Luau guests say 'bow wow'

More than 100 dog lovers came out Tuesday, July 31, for the BowWow Luau, at Hurricane Patty’s hosted by the Flagler Humane Society.

The event was a play on the new Yappy Hour, which the shelter began hosting recently.

“We like doing different themes and keeping it playful,” said Elizabeth Robinson, events coordinator with the Flagler Humane Society. “People with dogs have a wonderful sense of humor.”

Robinson hopes to be able to host an event once a month to support the shelter.
