Super troopers: Flagler Boy Scouts celebrate achievements

On their honor, they did their best. Boy Scouts in Troop 281 gathered Tuesday, Aug. 21, to be rewarded for doing their best at the fall Court of Honor ceremony, at First Baptist Church of Palm Coast.

At the ceremony, 10 scouts advanced in rank and 64 merit badges were awarded. New scout officers were also recognized. They are as follows: senior patrol leader, Kyle Goyzueta; assistant senior patrol leader, Gabriel McHugh; Gator Patrol leader, James Day; Tiger Patrol leader, Jacob Cuyler; troop quartermaster, Brandon Lanier; chaplain’s aid, Corey Prior; librarian, David Wheeler; scribe, Steven Weber; and historian, Ricardo Chumaceiro.
