Due to the extreme fog Saturday afternoon, Santa did not make his usual iconic entrance by parachute at the annual Holiday at the Beach Parade. However, he did take his place as anchor atop a Flagler Beach fire truck.

The parade, hosted by the Flagler Beach Rotary, included more than 50 entries stretching for more than an hour from the Sixth North to Sixth South.

Reigning parade champions Imagine Spirit Team won Best of Parade again. Other award winners are as follows: Best Depicting Theme, 1st place, Westside Baptist Church; 2nd place, Phun Coast Parrothead Club, 3rd place, Johnny D’s Beach Bar & Grill; Best Marching Unit, 1st place, Matanzas High School Marching Band, 2nd place, Flagler County Marine Corps League Detachment 876, 3rd Place, Palm Coast Roller Derby; Most Original, 1st place, Matanzas Dance Department, 2nd place, Zumba Palm Coast, 3rd place, Anthony’s Bobcat & Tree Service; and Judge’s Choice, 1st place, 3’N Motion Dance Studio, 2nd place, Atlantic Vibe Performance Academy, Inc, 3rd place, Flagler Palm Coast High School, Supremacy Dance Team.
