Students in the Matanzas High School cafeteria put lunch on hold Friday, Dec. 7, when they were surprised by a winter flash mob breaking it down to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” The dance number was immediately followed by a fashion show featuring stylish ways to dress for school during winter while still adhering to the districtwide uniform policy.
The show, organized by the Student Government Association, was the brainchild of sophomore Dominic Davis, who revamped a concept from last year to include uniforms.
All the outfits were donated to the fashion show by Bealls and included collared shirts in the school’s assigned colors. According to the uniform policy, jackets may be worn in any color; however, sweatshirts and sweaters must be in the school-approved colors with no logos other than the school’s.
