Forgive me, father, for I have "sinked"; and, road rules are made to be broken.

They just don't make sinks sturdy as they used to
3:59 p.m. -- 200 Block of US 1. Civil Complaint. The victim told an Ormond Beach police officer the suspects were in his restaurant Oct. 27, when the male suspect escorted the female suspect into the women’s bathroom. The victim told police the suspects broke the bathroom sink by “possibly sitting on it.” The victim said both suspects promised to pay for the broken sink and allowed him to make photocopies of their driver’s licenses, as a gesture of good faith.
The victim said he’s made contact with the suspects several times but has yet to be compensated for the sink, which he said cost him about $200 to replace. Since the victim admitted the suspects hadn’t broken the sink with “willful and malicious intent,” the police officer told him it was a matter that needed to be handled in small claims court.

Drunk on happiness, high on life
12:03 a.m. -- 1300 Block of Granada Boulevard. Traffic stop. An Ormond Beach police officer pulled over a vehicle for having a broken tag light, but once stopped, the officer noticed five to six empty beer bottles on the floor behind the passenger seat. The driver also seemed to be under the influence, according to the officer.
The driver took several field sobriety tests, which indicated impairment; however, she told the officer she was on several medications. The officer didn’t feel as if alcohol the cause but still had the passenger take control of the vehicle.
About 10 minutes later, a suspicious incident call came through from the Hidden Hills subdivision. The same officer responded and found the passenger from the previous traffic stop now in the vehicle’s driver’s seat and showing signs of impairment.
The police called a relative to pick up both individuals, and a tow truck was also called.
