6 p.m. — First block of Pickering Drive. Property Damage. The complainant stated that sometime late last year there was damage done to a property that has been foreclosed. 2:45 a.m. — First block of Camino Del Mar Parkway. Crash — Hit and Run. A deputy made contact with a security officer at the Hammock Dunes Bridge. The officer stated that a female driver had entered the complex and changed lanes suddenly, causing damage to one of the gates. The gate was bent backward about four inches.
Attempts to locate the vehicle were met with negative results. The suspect was called on the phone, and she hung up on the deputy.
The deputy drove to the suspect’s house and found a vehicle that matched the description — a white pickup truck — parked in the swale in front of the house. The truck had a black scuff mark on the front passenger door. The mark was consistent with the rubber coating on the arm of the gate.
The deputy made contact with the suspect, who initially denied any knowledge of the incident. When asked about hanging up on a deputy, she provided her name to the security officer.
