Flagler Beach First Friday will have a little bit of everything 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. Festivities will be held on Central Avenue, Second Street to Third Street.
Live music will be played by Captain Nick and the Mason Music Group. Captain Nick is a tropical rock entertainer, who plays Buffet tunes along with covers of Jerry Jeff Walker, Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson and the Eagles, to name a few. Mason Music Group will play classic rock tunes.
The city is also hosting its first Slow Cooker Showdown that night. First through third place will be awarded in each category: appetizers, main courses and desserts.
For $3, attendees will be able to sample the entries. There will also be Valentine cookie decorating for kids.

USTA Men’s Futures Tournament — Quarterfinal rounds will be held Friday, Feb. 3, semifinals Saturday, Feb. 4, and finals 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Citrus Grove Work Day — 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 4, at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. Project participants will assist park staff and volunteers in a group project to rejuvenate the citrus groves of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park and prepare for the upcoming Citrus Harvest Festival. Stamp and Coin Club Show — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 5400 Belle Terre Parkway. Free stamps and coins for kids. Parking and admission are free. Daddy Daughter Dance — 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Palm Coast Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. Hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department. Fathers are encouraged to invite the special young lady in their lives — daughters, granddaughters, nieces — for an evening of dinner, flowers and music. Tickets are $25 per couple and available at the center. Call 986-2323.
