Cover up?
7:45 a.m. — Belle Terre Parkway and Banton Lane. Indecent exposure. A deputy responded to call in reference to a woman walking along the sidewalk with her breasts exposed. The deputy arrived to find that the breasts were partially exposed.
During the investigation, it was discovered that the location was a bus stop, and while the deputy was there, several vehicles passed the scene.
A juvenile then approached the intersection and stated he was waiting for his bus. The deputy asked the juvenile to wait on the other side of the road so he would not be subjected to the scene. Five minutes later, the juvenile caught the bus.
The woman was told several times to cover her breasts. While the deputy was speaking to her, the woman’s breasts became fully exposed. She was then placed under arrest for indecent exposure and transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.
While en route to the jail, the woman stated several times that she planned to accuse the deputy of touching her breasts.

Bush leaguer
6:12 p.m. — 100 block of Laguna Forest Trail. Larceny. A complainant reported that a suspect had stolen a ring from him. The deputy arrived and observed the suspect crouching on a driveway and going through some luggage. As the deputy introduced himself, the suspect said, “Shhh.”
The suspect then threw something into a bush. The deputy observed a small black leather box under a bush and retrieved it. He asked the suspect what was in the box, and he replied that it was probably a ring. He said he was being set up and didn’t want to be caught with the ring in his possession. The deputy put handcuffs on the suspect.
Inside the box was a men’s golden ring with a red stone in it and this inscription: “American Bowling Conference,” with the name of the complainant.
The suspect was then questioned, and he insisted that the ring was planted in his backpack because the complainant didn’t want him to date his daughter. The suspect was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility and charged with grand theft.

Several electronic items worth $500 were stolen, in addition to 10 baseball caps worth approximately $300. The complainant said he thinks his girlfriend is responsible because some of her items were missing also.
The girlfriend was contacted and asked to come to the residence to talk to the deputy. She replied to tell the deputy, “Come find me.”
