Fresh off throwing a perfect game last week, Flagler Palm Coast sophomore pitcher Morgan Lambert threw a one-hitter Wednesday night as the Lady Bulldogs routed Pierson Taylor, 12-1.

In five innings of work, Lambert allowed one hit, one run and struck out 11 batters. In 16 innings pitched this season, Lambert has 34 strikeouts and has allowed just four hits and two runs.

Flagler Palm Coast (3-0) scored three runs in the first inning, four in the second inning, one in the third, two in the fourth and two in the fifth. FPC had 15 hits.

Lee Ann Spivey went 3-for-3 with a home run, while Bre Blackledge and Sam Mittel both went 3-for4. FPC had four doubles on the night.

Next up, Flagler Palm Coast plays 4 p.m. today at Pine Ridge. Then, FPC hosts crosstown Matanzas 6:30 p.m. Friday.
