+ Summer lovin’
 Dana Marie Kowsh, daughter of George and Sharon Kowsh, and Matthew John Rio, son of Robert and Mary Rio, recently got engaged.

The couple met and fell in love in the summer of 2008.

The future bride is a medical science major, planning a career as a physician assistant. The future groom is a patient care technican for surgical services at Florida Hospital and attending Daytona State College to pursue a career in nursing.

A September 2012 wedding is planned at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, in Flagler Beach.

 Bruce and Julie MacDonald celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Valnetine’s Day, Feb. 14.

+ Just born
 Kenneth and Lynn Dorey welcomed a seven-pound, three-ounce baby boy 7:28 p.m. Feb. 18, at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center.
