Flagler County resident celebrates 100th birthday

Viola Ypio turned 100 years old Jan. 12. She celebrated with more than 50 people at the Wickline Center, in Flagler Beach, the day before with a party compete with cake, ice cream and line dancing.

“I feel the same,” she told friends at her table.

Ypio has lived in Florida for 14 years and attends the Wickline Center every Wednesday.

“She keeps us laughing,” said Gloria McKay, case manager.
