Gibbs, Goren to tie the knot

Christina Gibbs, daughter of Tom and Linda Gibbs, of Palm Coast, recently got engaged to Jeffrey Goren, son of Ed and Sherri Goren, of Sanford.

Goren proposed to Gibbs while in downtown St. Augustine along the water, the same place he had taken her on their first date.

Gibbs works at Hayward Brown Flagler Inc., and Goren teaches at Buddy Taylor Middle School.

The couple is planning a spring 2013 wedding.
