Palm Coast half attracts 352 finishers

The second-annual Palm Coast half marathon drew 352 total finishers, with 190 running the half marathon and 162 running the 5K.

Reinke Sports Group put on the race, which started at the European Village.

Jacob Cole, 18, a senior at Spruce Creek High School, won the half marathon with a time of 1 hour, 17 minutes, 29 seconds. Cole, in his first half marathon, caught up to Jose Musso, who is currently leading the Palm Coast Race Series, at Mile 11, and then went on to win the race.

The next race of the series is the Run Flagler – Race of the Runways 5K 8 a.m. Feb. 11, at the Flagler County Airport.
