Junior guard Ivan Tsabak drained three 3-pointers Thursday night, leading the Matanzas Pirates past Calvary Christian, 73-54.

Matanzas (8-11) outscored Calvary Christian (12-2) in the fourth quarter, 25-8, to secure the win.

Kurt Grimes and Tsabak each had 15 points and Shawn White added 13.

The Pirates had 21 fouls in the game, and there was a fight in the fourth quarter. Shannon Godard was ejected for Matanzas.

White leads the team in scoring this season, averaging 16.9 points and 10 rebounds per game. Tsabak is shooting 35% on 3-pointers.

The Pirates continue their season 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Ponte Vedra. After tonight, Matanzas has five games remaining, including a Feb. 3 matchup against Flagler Palm Coast to close out the regular season.
