This Weekend: Flagler Home and Lifestyle Show

The 26th-annual Flagler Home and Lifestyle Show will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 ad Sunday, Jan. 29, at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

The show, which is free admission and free parking, will feature: a home show, showcasing hundreds of local businesses; a service fair, featuring nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations serving Flagler County; a health fair, sponsored by Florida Hospital Flagler with lectures and free screenings; arts and crafts, featuring local artists and handmade specialty crafts; a food court; professional and local entertainment; and new this year, seminars and demonstrations presented by local businesses owners.

The event is rain or shine.

Other events this weekend are:

USTA Men’s Futures Tournament — Qualifying play runs Friday, Jan. 27, through Monday, Jan. 30, at the Palm Coast Tennis Center, 1290 Belle Terre Parkway. Main Draw Play is scheduled from Tuesday, Jan. 31, through Thursday, Feb. 2. Quarter final rounds will be held on Friday, Feb. 3, semi-finals on Saturday, Feb. 4, and final rounds on Sunday, Feb. 5, at 11 a.m. Spectator admission is free for qualifying and main draw play and tickets for final rounds are $8. ‘Music Made in America’ Concert — 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 N. Florida Park Drive. The 53-member chorus will sing traditional music from American composers of gospel, folk, sacred and Broadway-style music. Donations are welcome. Munchkin Sports — 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Community Center, 305 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. A six-week parent/child program for 2-4 year-olds to learn the basics of soccer, baseball, football, golf and tennis for six weeks. Register at wwwpalmcoastgov.com or call 986-2323.
 

Garden Tour at Washington Oaks — 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, 6400 North Oceanshore Blvd. Join a park ranger on a stroll through the park gardens to learn about the various flowers, plants, and butterfly species. Participants should bring cameras, water, sunscreen, bug repellant and walking shoes. Price of the tour will be included in the regular park entrance fee of $2.00 per person on bicycle, $4.00 per vehicle for single occupancy or $5.00 per vehicle, up to eight people. Kids Beach Hike with a Ranger — 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 South Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Bring the kids for an educational beach hike with Ranger Lauren; all ages welcome. Call 517-2086.
 

Young Piano Artists Showcase — 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Palm Coast United Methodist Church, 5200 Belle Terre Parkway. Free Will Concert to benefit the Music Ministry of the PCUMC. The public is invited.
