‘Lawn’ gone
Noon — 100 Block of Beacon Mill Lane. Stolen Tag. A victim advised that she noticed the trailer registration plate had been stolen. It is unknown when the incident occurred or the location because the trailer is used for employment purposes in regard to lawn service.
July 5
Dastardly driveway deed
9:08 p.m. — First Block of Picadilly Place. Larceny-Motor Vehicle. A victim advised that her vehicle was broken into and items were missing. She had parked her unlocked vehicle in her boyfriend’s driveway at approximately 10:30 p.m., and when she attempted to get gas the next day, she noticed her wallet missing from the vehicle but did not report it at that time. The next day, she also noticed that her Nook tablet was missing.
She advised that a transaction was attempted at a gas station in Palm Coast, using the debit card and credit card from her wallet. The transactions were denied, and no money was removed from her accounts.
The victim was unable to provide account numbers for the cards and did not have a serial number for the Nook. No physical evidence was discovered on the scene.
Boat and trailer stolen
11:40 a.m. — Intersection of U.S. 1 and Whiteview Drive. Stolen Vehicle. The victim was pulling his pontoon boat when he suffered a flat tire on his trailer. He unhooked the trailer and drove to buy a new tire.
When he returned later that morning, his boat and the trailer were missing. According to the victim, there was no evidence at the scene of who might have taken the the trailer. The trailer was valued at $2,500. The stolen 23-foot vessel was valued at $23,000.
