Barefoot Bandit on the loose
1:22 a.m. — 100 Block of Birchwood Drive. Larceny-Motor Vehicle. A complainant stated that he observed a white male and a Hispanic male standing in his driveway and looking inside his vehicle. When he exited his residence, one male fled on a bicycle and the fled on foot. He chased the suspects on foot but eventually lost sight of them.
When he returned home, he discovered that his wallet, which contained his driver’s license and Social Security card, had been stolen. A deputy arrived on the scene but was unable to lift any latent fingerprints from the area. A pair of black flip-flops lost by one of the males while running was submitted into evidence.
MAY 29
Put me in, Coach
1:29 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny. A woman advised that she was shopping and left her black-and-white Coach purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot.
She advised that she canceled her debit card and no transactions had been made. Two passports and a Social Security card were also contained within the bag. No suspects have been identified at this time.

7:11 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting. An employee stated that he was making his usual rounds when he observed a suspect in the Men’s, Hardware and Sporting Goods departments selecting items from the shelves and placing them inside a shopping cart. He selected approximately 12 items before entering the Garden Center, he concealed 11 of the items inside a backpack that was also selected and removed from a shelf. He then proceeded towards the exit and passed all points of sale, at which point he was approached and stopped by the reporting party.
The 12 items were valued at approximately $159.45. The suspect was arrested for retail theft and transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.

Mother-daughter duo
11:30 a.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting. An employee advised that he had an in-store BOLO (Be On Look Out) for a white female who had previously gotten away after having been witnessed shoplifting.
On this date, he observed her and another female (later identified as her mother) as she selected numerous items and placed them inside a shopping cart. She later placed the items from her cart into a shopping bag and proceeded to leave the store through the Garden Center entrance without attempting to purchase any of the items.
The merchandise was recovered and totaled approximately $101.98. The suspect was charged for shoplifting as well as trespassing after warning. While in custody, the suspect uttered that she needs help for shoplifting and believes she has a problem. She was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility without incident.
