The city of Palm Coast and the Flagler County Schools will present “Hugo” Friday, June 8, at dusk in Central Park in Town Center.
Admission is free for this event, a monthly movie feature that is shown on a huge screen in the stage area at the main entrance tothe park. Concessions will also be available.
Friday Night Movie in Central Park will be held on the second Friday evening of each month in Central Park, located just north of Flagler Palm Coast High School on Bulldog Drive.
Bring blankets, chairs and bug spray.

Low Tide Bike Ride — 8: 30 p.m. Friday, June 8, at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Bring or rent a bike; Ranger Kevin will di scuss beach ecology.
Guided Garden Walk —10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. Join a ranger on an informative stroll through the formal park gardens to learn about the various flowers, plants, and butterfly species. Call 446-6783.
Johnnie Martino at the Library — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. Johnnie Martino is an actor/singer best known for his role as Paulie Gato in “The Godfather.” Mr. Martino is also a published author, and autographed copies of his book will be available for sale after the program. In honor of Mr. Martino’s appearance, there will be a special screening of the Academy Award winning crime story at 1:30 p.m. Call 446-6763.
Flagler Beach Vegan Fest — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Beach House Beanery, 202 S. Central Ave., Flagler Beach. The event, sponsored by Vegan by Choice is designed to raise awareness of the positive impact of vegan choices and showcase business and organizations that are vegan friendly.
Second Saturday Gamble Jam — 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S. Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Jam out with local musicians, or just listen to music.
“Best of Best” at FCAL — 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Flagler County Art League, 160 Cypress Point Parkway. An exhibit of all winning art works from the 2011-2012 season. The public is invited. Show continues through Wednesday, July 11.
"La viscere de la Bête Noir" — 6-9 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Hollingsworth Gallery, at 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suites 209B and 210B. The show will be a retrospective of Richard Schreiner’s work and will hang all month.
Nicole’s Bistro and Barre — 7 p.m. Saturday, June 9 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Flagler Auditorium, 5500 E. State Road 100. Performance by the North East Florida Dance Academy with Flagler County Schools Adult and Community Education. Tickets are $10 adults and $8 for students.
Young Master’s Senior Recital — 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive. Elizabeth Broomfield and Nicholas O’Connor, students of the master teacher Stella Pola, will perform. A free will offering will be accepted. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the William J. Bellamy, Jr. Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to local young people who plan to study music or the arts in college.
