Flagler Palm Coast High School junior Michael Boyd, created this pen-and-ink drawing in Angela Biggs’ class. Boyd enjoys drawing outdoor scenery and scenes of fishing and hunting.
Flagler Palm Coast High School senior Tashaye Brown created this oil pastel self-portrat in Monica James’ class. Brown played violin for seven years and recently picked up the cello. She is a linguist who studies eight different languages and has 50 nicknames, but most of her friends know her as “Panda.” Brown taught herself to draw as a kid; she won honorable mention in the Flagler County Art League show in 2008.
