Secure the chinstrap on your bike helmet and ride over to Palm Coast’s first Bike Rodeo 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Central Park in Town Center.
There will be bike safety checks, a bike safety course to teach stopping and hand signals, clinics on how to repair a flat tire and what to do if a bike breaks down, old bike drop off, a helmet raffle and fingerprinting for children.
The Flagler County Rotary, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Bike Doctors, the Frank Celico Foundation and PC Bikes of Palm Coast are co-sponsors.
Remember helmets for the entire family.

‘Kung Fu Panda 2’ — 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Central Park in Town Center. Hosted by the Parks and Recreation Department and Flagler County Schools. Admission is free for this monthly movie event. Concessions will be available. Don’t forget to bring blankets, chairs, bug spray. Call 986-2323.
Bazaar/sale — 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church, 303 Palm Coast Parkway N.E. Funds raised will be donated to local charities and the work of the church. Rummage and Book Sale — 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Cattleman's Hall, Flagler County Fairgrounds, Sawgrass Road, Bunnell. Benefits the American Cancer Society 2012 Relay for Life of Flagler. Call 447-4372.
Plant This, Not That! — 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, 3100 S.Oceanshore Blvd., Flagler Beach. Learn about native plants for your yard and ones to avoid. First 30 people get a field guide, first 200 people get a free native plant sample. There will also be a plant sale. Call 446-6780.
