MARCH 7
Girl Scout cookie money stolen
2:14 p.m. — First Block of Bunker View Drive. Larceny from Auto. A complainant advised that between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. someone went into her unlocked vehicle and took money and compact discs without her permission. She was walking past the vehicle on her way to get the mail when she noticed that items were out of place. Some of her CDs were strewn across the driver’s seat, and a brown envelope full of Girl Scout cookie money had been moved. Upon further investigation, she found that her CD case, which contained approximately 30 CDs, and $220 in cash from the envelope were missing. Fingerprints were taken for analysis.

From ink to the clink
3:02 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting. A witness advised that he observed a male enter the electronics department and select two boxes of ink. He then proceeded to the men’s department and opened the boxes, placing the ink cartridges in his front pants pocket. The suspect exited the store, passing all points of sale, making no attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise. He was escorted to the asset protection office, and will be charged for retail theft in the amount of $27.94. The suspect was also on felony probation for grand theft and will be charged for violation.

MARCH 9
Pressing issue
1:44 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny Shoplifting. An employee advised that he was walking around the health and beauty department and observed a suspect select a bottle of nail glue from the shelf. She walked to a different aisle where she removed the glue from the box and discarded it on a shelf. She then walked to a toy aisle where she opened a box of press-on nails and concealed them in her pocket.

She proceeded to the front of the store and paid for a box of hair dye only. She exited the store and was then escorted to the asset protection office. She was placed under arrest for retail theft in the amount of $8.64.
