The third-annual Wings Over Flagler air show takes flight 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 24 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Flagler County Airport with aerial fly-bys and demonstrations.
There will be more than 60 vintage warbirds including the Nanchang CJ6A, Yak 52, L-39, P-51 Mustang, T-6 Texan, T-28 Trojan, T-34 Mentor, Epsilon, Laser 200, MX2, and Stearman up close.
The event will feature aerobatic displays by Greg Koontz and the Alabama Boys, Kevin “Soups” Campbell, and Blue Sky Yakrobatics.
There will also be s U.S. Navy flight simulator, climbing walls, Humvee, and military dog tag machines.
New this year is a Kids Zone featuring aviation themed inflatables; bounce house, aircraft carrier and Military Madness a 30-by-70-foot military racing obstacle course, space shuttle slide and bungee trampolines.
During the 11 a.m. opening ceremony Flagler County Commissioner George Hanns will skydive with a team out of Palatka in memory of his brother who died Christmas Day.
“It's easy motivation,” Hanns said. “I'm doing it for him — in a way, I feel like I'm getting in my combat experience."
Event tickets at the gate are $7 for adults, $5 for teens and children ages 2 and up.

Friday Night Live Concert — 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, at European Village, 101 Palm Harbor Parkway. Black Hawk Station will entertain guests with southern rock and blues; bring your lawn chairs. Call 986-2323.
‘ART’ — 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, March 23 through Saturday, March 31, at Hollingsworth Gallery, 160 Cypress Point Parkway. A City Repertory Theatre production. This Tony Award winning play is filled with a dazzling array of language. Admission is $15, student rush is $5.
