MARCH 12
Gut punch
1:09 p.m. — First Block of Bridgehaven Drive. Larceny. A victim stated that a heavy bag has been stolen from his garage. He last saw the bag two weeks ago, and described it as a 5-foot Everlast heavy bag, valued at $300, that had been hanging in the garage. The victim had not seen any suspicious activity in the area and has no idea who could have taken it. He requested an extra watch on the area.
Visit from Goldilocks’ evil twin?
4:47 p.m. — 100 Block of Sea Trail. Burglary-Residence. A victim advised that her family had been gone all day, and when her son arrived home from school he found a bent ladle stuck between his locked bedroom door and the frame. When the complainant arrived home, she found one of her husband’s shirts placed out on the bed, and a jacket that appeared to have been tried on was on the couch in the living room.
She also found an open beer bottle, half-full, and a can of coconut drink, mostly-full, on the master bedroom night stand.
A single black Adidas flip-flop and a footprint were found by the fence on the rear side of the house.
The victim stated that she suspected someone was in her home a few days prior, as well, because she discovered $100 missing from a bowl on her dresser and half of a box of donuts missing from the kitchen.
MARCH 17
Cash dash
6:57 p.m. — 100 Block of Flagler Plaza Drive. Larceny-Motor vehicle. A victim advised that sometime between 4 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on this date, $160 in $20 bills was taken from the center console of her vehicle. She stated that she always locks her car but was not positive that she had done so this time. There were no signs of forced entry.
An employee of the victim’s workplace is a possible suspect, but he stated he did not take the money and also allowed the victim to search his vehicle.
A test for fingerprints was met with negative results, and there is no security camera with the victim’s car in view.
MARCH 18
Dirty dozen
10:07 a.m. — First Block of Beachway Drive. Criminal Mischief. A victim stated that her house had been egged overnight. She said that this has happened several times before, but that on this occasion an unknown suspect smashed an egg in her mailbox.
She stated that around midnight she heard loud thumps against the house and woke up to find eggs on the front of her house and on the roof. The eggs did not cause any structural damage to the residence.
The victim was unable to provide any suspect information but requested an extra watch on the area around midnight.
