What’s up wi’ shoe?
5:12 p.m. — 1200 Block of Palm Coast Parkway Southwest. Larceny-Shoplifting. An employee observed a juvenile take off the shoes he was wearing, replace them with a new pair of Timberland shoes and put his own old pair back in the shoebox. He observed another juvenile take a pair of Timberland shoes out of their box and conceal them in his backpack.
The two juveniles then exited the store, without paying for the merchandise. Both boys were apprehended and escorted to the loss prevention office. Each pair of shoes was valued at $48; both juveniles were placed under arrest and transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.

5:02 p.m. — 100 Block of Cypress Point Parkway. Larceny-Shoplifting. An employee stated that he observed two females in the electronics department selecting printer ink. They then walked to the housewares department, where they selected several household items and placed them into their separate shopping carts.
The girls proceeded to the sporting goods department and selected a tent from the shelf. They then walked to the shoe department, where they bagged all the items they had selected into shopping bags. They proceeded to the garden center and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay for the merchandise.
Upon further examiniation, one suspect stole 40 items with a total value of $581.58, and the other stole 61 items with a total value of $740.12. All of the merchandise was recovered, and the two suspects were placed under arrest for retail theft. They were also issued trespass warnings.

1:23 p.m. — 100 Block of Ryberry Drive. Larceny. A victim stated that at approximately noon on May 1, he left his silver/black Sony camcorder at a friend’s residence. He began looking for the camcorder on May 4 and called the friend to ask if she had seen it, to which she replied, “No.” The estimated cost of the device was $500. The victim is unsure whether the camcorder is stolen or lost, but stated that he believes it may be stolen based on past experience with friends/family from the same household stealing and pawning property. He advised that he would check the local pawn shops in an attempt to locate the camcorder.
