The Palm Coast United Methodist children’s choir, Joy Song, performed its musical, “AmeriKids,” Saturday, May 19.

The musical takes place at the AmeriKids Convention. The plot explores the faith of America’s early leaders.

“We hope ‘AmeriKids’ will inspire you to have faith in those things which were so dear to the founders of this nation — the Bible, the power of prayer, God’s protection and God’s salvation,” read the production program.

“Our national creed is ‘In God We Trust.’”

A freewill offering was taken at the end of the performance to benefit the church’s building fund.
