Broken window, stolen purse
8:03 p.m. — 100 Block of Palm Harbor Parkway. Larceny from Auto. A victim stated that she parked her SUV in the parking lot of European Village to go running on the paved sidewalk. When she returned about 45 minutes later she discovered an unknown suspect had smashed the front passenger window and stolen her purse. She had placed her purse (valued at $60) on the floorboard in front of the passenger seat. The car alarm was still active but did not have a sensor for broken glass.
The victim stated that the purse contained a wallet (valued at $20) containing $200, about five credit cards, her driver’s license, an address book and an iPhone.
No latent fingerprints could be detected; there was a thin layer of dust on the door which had not been disturbed.
The victim later advised that her card had been used twice in Daytona Beach, at Burger King and then a gas pump. She noticed her financial institutions to stop any further transactions.

The wife let him into the bedroom, and he noticed she had blood on her left leg as well as a towel wrapped around her left forearm and wrist. She stated she was bitten by her 3-year-old female English bulldog, Maddie.
The victim had several bite markings on her left arm, and there was a good amount of blood on the bed and floor leading into the bathroom. She took him into the bathroom to see her husband, who had a deep dog bite and scratches on his right elbow.
The fire department responded and wrapped the victims’ injuries. The victims advised that Maddie was up to date on all her shots, and that she is bipolar and on medication for it. An animal control officer arrived on scene and took possession of Maddie.
