Borougian wins best in photography show

Twenty photographers entered 45 photographs in the Flagler County Art League’s third-annual Photography Show, which opened May 12.

Dan Borougian was awarded Best of Show for his picture, “Yellow Fire.” First place was awarded to Steven Sobel, second place to Robert Carlsen and third place to Krystyna Spisak-Madejczyk.

The show was judged by Eric Breitenbach Sr., a professor at the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies, Daytona State College.

“(I) believe this show to be one of the highest quality photography shows we’ve had at FCAL,” said Carlsen, director of gallery shows and exhibitions at FCAL.

The show will run through June 6, at the Flagler County Art League Gallery, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite 207C.
