The U15 Florida Force took second place at the Disney Memorial Day Tournament, which was held at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
The tournament featured 551 teams across all age divisions. The Force, coached by Pat Gould, went 3-1 over the weekend and allowed just four goals in four games. They outscored their opponents 12-4.
In the finals, the Force lost to Wellington — Region A Cup winners and Presidents Cup runners-up.

FC United competes at Nike tournament
Both the U12 girls and U15 boys black teams reached the finals of their respective age groups in the 2012 Nike Champions Cup.
The U12 girls, coached by Adam Allee, advanced to the finals but lost 2-1.
The U15 boys, coached by Rich Weber, went undefeated in group play. In the finals against Auburndale, FC United fell into a 1-0 deficit early on a free kick goal. FC United tied the game and it was 1-1 at the end of regulation. After overtime, FC United lost in penalty kicks.
