Paint the town
10:35 p.m. — First Block of Seattle Trail. Property damage. A deputy made contact with a victim who reported that someone spray painted his garage door. The victim had already painted over his door but had taken a photo of the damage. It is unknown what the painting was, but two X-shaped figures with a few lines are visible. There were no words accompanying this painting. It occupied a small space on the third garage door on the south end of the house. Light fixtures worth $40 were also spray painted black.
After clearing the scene, the deputy was patrolling the area attempting to find suspects when he found more spray paint farther down the same street. This painting occupied the majority of the two-car garage door. It had “666,” “Hail Latin” with an upside down cross through the second word, and “YOLO” with a smiley face in the last “O.”
The deputy continued his patrol and found a vehicle in the driveway of a house even further down the road that had been spray painted with white paint. This painting had “666,” an upside down cross, a circle with a five-point star in it and a circle with what looked like an “A” in it. It didn’t appear the vehicle was damaged and the paint would be removable.
Pictures were taken of the paintings for evidence. No suspects were located in the area.
Drinks are on me
11:10 p.m. — First Block of Kingswood Drive. Larceny. A store clerk reported that an unknown male entered the store and used the restroom. The male then exited the restroom, went to the beer cooler and took one 24-pack and one 18-pack of Natural Light beer and walked out of the store without paying for it.
The clerk told the male to stop, but the male did not stop and entered the front passenger seat of a gray four-door vehicle, which was parked in front of the store. The vehicle entered the parking lot and went northbound on Old Kings Road. The clerk said he was unable to view security tapes, but that he would notify a manager, who would contact the Sheriff’s Office when evidence in the form of surveillance tapes became available.

Pantless patron
11:45 p.m. — 2000 Block of Moody Boulevard. Intoxication. A deputy responded to a complaint from the manager at a business who reported that a male inside his place of business was causing a problem. The manager told the deputy that the male had slid his car sideways into a parking spot and come inside, being loud and belligerent. He then proceeded to use the restroom inside the business while leaving the door open to the public.
The deputy proceeded to the rear of business and immediately observed the male standing, facing away from him, with his pants pulled down, exposing himself to the people inside the place of business. The male was belligerent with law enforcement and resisted the deputy’s escort outside the business by pulling away.
While walking through the parking lot, the male continued to cause a scene as he yelled profanities in a loud voice so that witnesses standing in front of the business could hear. The male appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. He was escorted to the deputy’s marked patrol car, all the while yelling loudly and cursing at the assisting deputies. He was placed under arrest for disorderly intoxification and was transported to the Flagler County Inmate Facility.
